Connect Codex

1. Get a key

Settings → Agents → Add agent, pick Codex, and copy the key. You see it once. A new workspace gets this step right after sign-up.

2. Run once, with the key in an environment variable

export AGENTORB_KEY="YOUR_KEY"
codex mcp add agentorb --url https://app.agent-orb.com/api/mcp --bearer-token-env-var AGENTORB_KEY

Replace YOUR_KEY with your key. Or add [mcp_servers.agentorb] with url and bearer_token_env_var to ~/.codex/config.toml.

3. Check it's connected

Run codex mcp list: agentorb should be listed.

4. Give it something to do

Start a new session and ask: “Check AgentOrb for your work and do your first task.” Its first call puts it on your board's agent rail. Nothing? My agent isn't showing up.
